MU Clubs & Socs Awards

Our Mission

Organise and run the 26th Maynooth University Clubs & Societies Awards online, which was to take place in a 4-star hotel.

Our Challenge

Produce the live-stream event from scratch and present it on school’s internal platform. 

Our Goal

Gather students to join the Awards Ceremony as it’s a big night to many of the Clubs & Socs members.

Online Event Production

Started with a new brand image, our experienced and creative graphic designers came up with a bold and energetic design. The art elements were used across all media, including posters, social media, and visual effects. 
Working closely with the University, our event production experts carefully outlined the Ceremony and solved the technological boundary. 
To engage with students, we designed different social media campaigns, and incentivised them to share content with #muclubsandsocsawards2020

Results

In less than 2 weeks, a virtual community of the campus was built. Our messages reached to 27.5k people on Facebook, and had a 9.28% engagement rate on Instagram. More than 300 students were watching the online Awards Ceremony, dressed up and tweeting/gramming throughout the Night.
