Produce the DCU Clubs & Socs Awards 2021. From staging, filming, editing to streaming live on media platforms.
Our Challenge
Follow strict government guidelines to film the awards on campus, including host and interviews.
Our Goal
Create an immersive experience that celebrate the students’ achievement and dedication to campus life.
I Am Part Of DCU
The Clubs & Societies Awards are a celebration of the valuable role that Clubs and Societies perform in Dublin City University. The Awards are an opportunity to recognize and reward the vast range of achievements and contributions that both individuals and groups have made to campus life.
Since this was the first full academic year during the pandemic, most students didn’t have the chance to experience physical campus life or even meet other students in person. It motivated us to design an engaging online ceremony that brought the community together.
We aimed to present the ceremony in a combination of fun and seriousness, which would give the audience an impression as if they were attending with friends. Clubs and societies members were invited to co-host and to share their personal experiences in interviews. All participated students were from within a 5km location as per Covid Guidelines.
