Easter Hunt – A Family Fun Day

Taking advantage of the long pedestrian area in the Retail Parks, we came up with this creative event idea: an Easter Hunt parade. Leading by our Easter characters, kids were asked to count the Easter egg stickers placed on store windows. At the end of the parade, all participants were rewarded with a box of chocolate. Other family-friendly activities included face painting, music, entertainment and loads of sweets. An online registration system was introduced to this retail event to better manage the crowd.

Results

All pre-registered online tickets were sold out (705), almost on the first day of release. Great social media engagements were captured. This retail event brought all family members, from kids and teenagers to parents and grandparents to the Retail Parks, which led to a chocolate overdose (in a good way) and a boost of sales and brand recognition. A good example of community building and retail relationship management.
